Many business owners say they are quite good at design, but less so at implementation. The era of AI brings a challenge too, because it now appears easy to design a project in concept with digital knowledge alone. But it’s in implementation where projects deliver their value and where real know-how is so important.

The coaching approach Fergus adopts also deals with blocks, barriers and resistance to change that sometimes arise in the implementation phase.

If projects are not properly implemented the return on investment is not fully realised, growth trajectory is shallower and, over time, desired outcomes are often not achieved. As Fergus says, “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing properly.”
